Folders, tags & search

Organize a growing library with folders and tags, then filter and search the snippet list to find anything fast.

Folders#

Each snippet can belong to one folder. Create and name folders from the snippet list; names can be up to 190 characters. The list sidebar shows a folder rail: click a folder to filter the list to its contents, or click All to see every snippet. Deleting a folder moves its snippets back to the uncategorized view; no snippets are deleted.

Tags#

Tags are free-form labels you attach to a snippet to describe its purpose or context. Each snippet can carry up to 20 tags, and each tag can be up to 50 characters long. Filter and search the snippet list by tag to find related snippets across different folders and types.

Finding snippets#

The snippet list supports searching by title and filtering by folder, tag, type, and status. Combine filters to narrow the view: for example, show only enabled PHP snippets in a given folder. From any filtered view you can bulk-enable or bulk-disable the matching snippets in one action.
